BLACK DUB / RING THE ALARM
BLACK DUB PERFORMING THEIR VERSION OF TENOR SAW CLASSIC “RING THE ALARM” – LIVE OFF THE FLOOR.
This film was made spontaneously minutes before I left to get on a plane back to Canada following one of the 3 Black Dub studio sessions. It mostly follows the record arrangement, which is based on an in concert, off the hook Lanois/Blade jam sometime during 2008, later edited for length and had minimal overdubs added. Mark Howard recorded both performances beautifully.
