“Their vehicle, nicknamed the “Willie One,” is a diesel Volkswagen Jetta modified with an extra fuel tank that will, along with the diesel car’s fuel economy of approximately 45-50 mpg, allow it to travel coast-to-coast without a single fuel stop.
To maximize performance, the drivers will be using Diesel Kleen +Cetene Boost from Power Service Products. The fuel additive can increase mpg up to 8 percent, according to the company, as well as reduce visible exhaust emissions up to 50 percent and NOx and CO emissions up to 28 percent.”
