Red Means Run is a novel by Brad Smith. I made this little trailer for Brad’s book, around his farm, and his life, where he likes to be alone. Brad’s never been framed for murder though. Please watch it here.
LINCVOLT
Neil Young presents Lincvolt to SEMA in Vegas. Lincvolt is his electric car conversion from the 50′s. He’s developing proprietary technology for all the systems, if a farmer from North Ontario can do it why can’t the big auto manufacturers.
SHOW REEL – TWO
My second ever show reel. More weird and wonderful, a small spattering of time-lapse, and some post fx work from my infancy. enjoy.

NUIT BLANCHE 2010 – LATER THAT NIGHT AT THE DRIVE-IN

Daniel Lanois, Mark Howard and myself worked with a team of experimental film artists, a curator and an team of architects to pull of a 24hr, 100,000 watt (Meyer) surround sound and projection spectacle that occupied an entire city block sized square in front of Toronto City Hall in October of 2010.
WATCH LE NOISE ON YOUTUBE
You can watch the whole film I made with Neil on youtube. Do yourself a favour and watch it with a good stereo system that has a sub and crank it to 11. 38 minutes. There are even comments from people who stole it from there with a downloader app. Can you believe that shit? If you don’t care about quality go ahead and do that, but it’s available on DVD and Blu-ray.
HERE IS WHAT IS – TRAILER
This is a trailer for the film I made with Daniel Lanois and Adam Samuels. It was the first time i’d ever done anything like it. LE NOISE – NEIL YOUNG
My most recent work. A collaboration with Neil Young and Daniel Lanois.
I was very priviledged to be involved in an uninhibited way to capture these raw performances on film.
I also provided the imagery to Gary Burden, for the entire packaging design.
BLACK DUB / RING THE ALARM
BLACK DUB PERFORMING THEIR VERSION OF TENOR SAW CLASSIC “RING THE ALARM” – LIVE OFF THE FLOOR. ONE OF MY FAVORITES FROM THESE SESSIONS. TOTALLY SPONTANEOUS AND UNPLANNED. IT DOESN’T HURT THAT IT WAS THE PERFECT TIME OF DAY AT LA BELLA VISTA FOR SHOOTING.
