I made this trailer along with a great team at Simon & Shuster, it’s about Red Means Run. Red Means Run is a novel by Brad Smith. It’s a murder mystery based on the lead character Virgil Cain, an ex-athelete who likes to be by himself, and gets framed for murder. It’s set in the Hudson River Valley. I made this little trailer for Brad’s book, where he lives in the Grand River Valley, around his farm, and his life, where he likes to be alone. Brad’s never been framed for murder though. Please watch it here. We made it one afternoon. No script.

I grew up around there too, so I did all the early morning footage driving around all my old haunts.

Neil Young presents Lincvolt to SEMA in Vegas. Lincvolt is his electric car conversion from the 50's. He's developing proprietary technology for all the systems, if a farmer from North Ontario can do it why can't the big auto manufacturers.

Why the hell are we all still driving polluters? I know one guy who isn’t, he’s a farmer from Canada, he also happens to be a rock’n roll legend, my Buddy Neil Young! He’s converted a 50′s Lincoln into a full electric cruiser, It is one of the coolest cars ever. What I wonder is if a farmer from Canada can make a full on electric car, why the hell aren’t all automakers? Vote with your dollars and support sustainable, local and organic practises in your community, your children and grandchildren, and great grand children will thank you. The system is not going to change top down, so stop waiting, spread awareness and lets build a better planet from the inside out.

The little film above is of Neil presenting Lincvolt at the SEMA show in Las Vegas, Fall 2010. I made it with Neil and Will over at Shakey Pictures
